About Dr. Kristine Trockels
Dr. Kristine Trockels ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California.
She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona in July 2012. After completing her boards she moved with her husband to Hawaii, for a year, to work at a Naturopathic Retreat. She worked with patients with addictions to prescription drugs, street drugs, and food. Some patients came to the retreat for a wellness program and detoxification. There was also a program for chronic illness and cancer. Most of the patients received IV therapy and counseling along with a strict raw food diet, caster oil packs and coffee enemas.
Dr. Trockels relocated to the mainland when her husband received a job transfer to Sacramento. She returned to the schools as an Occupational Therapist while she worked on building her own practice. Dr. Trockels graduated from Temple University in 2000 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Most of her experience has been working in the schools with children from preschool through high school.
Dr. Trockels has one daughter who teaches at the university level. Dr. Trockels lives in Kelseyville, California, with her husband and 2 cats. She has been enjoying the country life! Boating, biking, hiking, and weekend trips to the ocean and redwoods She grew up on the East coast but moved out west in 2000. She lived in New Mexico for several years but the cold winters were not enjoyable. This prompted a relocation to Phoenix, where she lived for 8 years until the extreme heat got to be too much! "California has the ideal climate and so much beauty. I am proud to call California home!"
